iPad ownership rate is highest in Hong Kong

International research company TNS has published the results of their latest Mobile Life survey. Mobile Life is “an annual investigation from TNS designed to provide a deep understanding of today’s global mobile device consumers and the future impact mobile will have on our digital landscape”. TNS polled 34,000 people across 43 countries in compiling the report.

Absolute leader in the field of tablet adoption is Hong Kong as 17 percent of the inhabitants own a tablet computer, supposably nine out of ten sold devices are iPads. According to the report, half of the respondents expect to purchase one in the near future.
